Video: Lancia Stratos - old vs. new

The original Lancia Stratos has been launched in 1972 and until 1974 when it was discontinued only 492 units have been produced. The first Stratos has been powered by a Dino 2.4 liter V6 engine capable to deliver 190 HP and to sprint the car to an impressive top speed of 144 mph.

In 2010 the Stratos name has been used once again. The new model was based on a Ferrari 430 Scuderia from which it used many mechanical components such as the chassis, gearbox and the 4.3L V8 engine tuned up to 532 HP. The new Statos is capable to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and to hit a top speed close to 200 mph.

But now Marchettino has manged to shot a video that shows both Stratos in action - and for us is the perfect opportunity to hear the impressive sound of both engines.
