Lakers, Rockets win in unusual manner

A snapshot look at an abbreviated NBA schedule on Thursday: Lakers win, but it wasn’t easy The Los Angeles Lakers won one the hard way in Boston. The Lakers went 1-for-15 (6.7 percent) from 3-point range in their overtime win over the Boston Celtics. The last time they shot worse than that and won on the road was on December 16, 1999 (won at Atlanta, 95-88, despite going 0-5). The Lakers have won four straight games in Boston, the last three by one point, and the last two coming in overtime.
