Baron Davis Reportedly Heckled by Clippers' Owner Donald Sterling

There are plenty of sports fans who live by the belief that because they paid good money for a ticket, that entitles them to yell a variety of insulting comments at the players -- within reason, of course.

If that theory holds true, then it should hold true for the owners as well, considering how much money they pay out in players' salaries. But just because an owner can do this, doesn't mean he should, and common sense would dictate that he would especially want to refrain from doing so to the players on his own team.

Unfortunately, common sense and the Clippers haven't gone together for decades, and that's exactly why the story of Donald Sterling heckling his own players -- namely Baron Davis, the highest paid on the team -- should really come as no surprise.
