Translogic tests the Jetlev R200 - Click above to watch video after the jump
When Translogic's Bradley Hasemeyer helmed the Seabreacher, he used the craft to run right at the water's edge. Now, Hasemeyer has traveled down to Miami, Florida to check out a new craft that will have him rising up above the wet world beneath him. It's called the Jetlev R200, and it's jet pack powered by water.
Hasemeyer straps himself into the near-$100,000 rig, and proceeds to spend some time attempting to slip the surly bonds of Earth. We say "attempting" because it seems Bradley could use a few more minutes with an instructor. We were hoping for soaring, but we ended up with skimming. And maybe a little crashing, but thankfully, no drowning.
