After the 6-Series Convertible version unveiled last year, BMW has also launched this week-end the coupe version. And while the European will also get a 640i version powered by a 320 hp six-in-line petrol unit, on the US market BMW will only bring the more powerful 650i version, a model that gets a 400 HP V8 engine. The 650i Coupe arrives in US showrooms this fall.
Now in its third generation, the new 650i Coupe features a stunning design and even sharper driving dynamics than its predecessor, but it also gets optimized comfort levels and extra space thanks to its increased sizes: 2.9 inch (74 mm) increase in body length over its predecessor and a 2.95 inch (75 mm) longer wheelbase. The model comes with Adaptive LED Headlights, BMW ConnectedDrive driver assistance systems, rear-view camera, Surround View, Parking Assistant, BMW Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, Lane Departure Warning System and Lane Change Warning System and of course the standard BMW iDrive control system.
