Chicago Bulls starting center Joakim Noah will have surgery to repair his injured right thumb and will reportedly be out for up to 10 weeks, Chicago Breaking Sports reported. According to the website, two team sources confirmed the breaking news to the Chicago Tribune. Noah, who first injured the thumb in late November against the Kings, further aggravated the injury in December. The 25-year-old center played with his hand taped up at times, while being hampered by the nagging injury.
